Why Parabellum?

The word Parabellum comes from the latin saying: Si vis Pacem, Para Bellum. Which translates into: if you want peace, prepare for war. That is the attitude of this platform and is what every article in this site will be based on. Winston Churchill once said:

“To urge the preparation for defence is not to assert the imminence of war … On the contrary, if war were imminent, preparations would be too late.”

Parabellum isn’t about war necessarily being around the corner, but it is about already preparing before it comes, because when war or hard times arrive, you will be ready, instead of at the last moment having to get ready.

“The more you sweat during peace, the less you’ll bleed during war.”

Improving yourself, learning, mastering skills, and knowledge about the past is what serves as the best possible preparation for when war might come. If you care to join us in these preparations, start reading the articles on Parabellum.
